Celtic Cross may be the only church in America that holds a sheep-shape event known as the Shepherds Candlelight Dinner.Sheep dominate once a year on this night in Runquist Meadow.The meadow setting of this dinner is a delightful respite from the stampede of everyday life on California roadways.Whether you attend every year or have never attended, EWE ARE WELCOME this year.Mark your calendar now for this date: 6:00 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2008
This all-church event is open to members and friends and includes a hot, delicious meal (Shepherds Pie) that begins with a tasty "Sheep Dip" appetizer.This year the program will include some special music by "Resurrection" and some "flock talk" about the Shepherding Program at Celtic Cross. In case you are not familiar with "shepherding," it is a program that partners a new member with a volunteer Shepherd from our church who helps the new(s) to better become assimilated into the life ofbody of Christ.This focused effort is made for the purpose of acquainting Christians with a new church home in which they can worship God, participate in the programs and grow in faith.
